Obituary of Elizabeth "Betty" Carolyn VanLuven

VANLUVEN, Elizabeth "Betty" Carolyn - At Bluewater Health on Friday, November 18, 2016 Betty died at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Bert (2001). Dear mother of Valerie Sinclair (Bob), Bruce VanLuven (Sue Carter) and Stuart VanLuven. Loving grandmother of Jennifer Sinclair, Jonathon Sinclair, Thomas Anderson VanLuven and Mary Anderson VanLuven. Great-grandmother of Max, Ethan and Tristan. Sister of William Raymond (Betty). Predeceased by her parents Edward & Kathleen Raymond and brother Frank Raymond. Betty was proudly involved with the Girl Guides of Canada for 55 years. She also volunteered with the Canadian Diabetes Association, the White Cane Club of Sarnia and the Canadian Cancer Society and was an active member of New Horizons Community Church (Sarnia Free Methodist Church). Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
