Dear Auntie Anne, Wayne, Kathy, Ian and Kelly and family,
We are very sorry for your loss. Uncle Gordie always stayed connected through calls and the mail. His letters and cards for Christmas and birthdays were so witty and clever, they never failed to make us smile!! Our mother and Uncle Doug will miss him very much, but also take comfort in their memories touring the Cabot Trail together every fall, and are relieved that he did not suffer with illness for a long time, as their parents had.
We hope to be able to get together with you before too long.
Love,
Odette, Jorge, Lucas and Adriano

Dear Auntie Anne, Wayne, Kathi, Ian, Kelly and family,
We are deeply saddened by the news of Uncle Gord's passing. We knew that he was not feeling well lately, but did not expect him to decline so quickly. Perhaps it is a blessing that he did not suffer with a lengthy illness. Uncle Gord was always so thoughtful with us, sending Christmas presents throughout the years and always brightening our days with a delightful and witty letter from time to time. He and my Mom (Norma) spoke nearly every day, and they reminisced about old times and spoke of all manner of current events. I wish we could be there with you now, we are with you in our thoughts and prayers. Lots of love, Nicole and family

To the family of Gordon Shaw, His sister Norma & brother Doug;
So sorry to hear about Gordon's passing. I have never met Gordon, however, I have heard wonderful things about him over the years. It is very hard to lose someone that we love but all of us will have to face the same thing someday. The only consolation is the fact that our faith tells us that our loved ones are going in a better place where they will not suffer anymore. I do believe that God has prepared for Gordon a precious place in heaven. He has been rewarded for all the good deeds that he has accomplished on earth. May God bless all of you and Gordon RIP. My sincere condolences to all.
