My condolences go out to "Gert"'s family as they mourn the loss of the wonderful lady that was Gertrude. I have many fond memories of her, stemming down especially from my youth, where she was a second grandmother of sorts to me. Although I am now living in the Montreal area, any time I visit Sarnia and drive by her old house on the corner of Errol Rd and Indian Rd, I still can't help but recall some of those memories.

Chère Ginette, C'est avec tristesse que nous avons appris le décès de ta mère. Peu importe les circonstance, perdre sa mère reste difficile. La foi nous apporte quand même une grande consolation à savoir que la vie n'est jamais détruite, mais transformée.
