For Michael, William and Kailie:
Silent, Strong Dad by © Karen K. Boyer
He never looks for praises.
He's never one to boast.
He just goes on quietly working
For those he loves the most.
His dreams are seldom spoken.
His wants are very few,
And most of the time his worries
Will go unspoken, too.
He's there...a firm foundation
Through all our storms of life,
A sturdy hand to hold onto
In times of stress and strife,
A true friend we can turn to
When times are good or bad.
One of our greatest blessings,
The man that we call Dad.
Love to you from Aunt Fran and all the Joyces from Prince George, BC

If I could only ease the sense of lost you must be feeling now......my thoughts go out to all that loved him, especially to Michael, William and Kalie. I wish it were possible to ease the pain. Brian was my brother, maybe not by blood, but in every other way. The one thing I remember the most was his sense of humor. He loved to tell me stories then laugh as I totally fell for whatever he said. I have so many memories that make me smile. I feel the world is a better place because he was here.
He is now free from pain and worry in Heaven looking down.

I have been so saddened by Brian ‘s early departure from this earth. My summers were filled with softball and soccer and evenings watching senior Men’s softball on the west side of Corner Brook. The Companions, Meade’s,Mike Buckle, Hewlett’s, Joe Basha, Cliff Pike, Kings, Brian Quigley, Tyler Christopher, Wheelers, Aggie and Tom Callahan were all very much family, Brian held a special place in my heart as he was like all of the Companion brothers I knew, sweet and gentlemen. Wished we had an opportunity to speak again. Rest In Peace sweet Brian. In sympathy Dawn Hewlett
