Obituary of Rosemary Whiteley

WHITELEY, Rosemary – With her family by her side, at Afton Park Place, Rosemary Whiteley died on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at the age of 89.  Beloved wife of the late Albert Whiteley and the late Keith Grieve.  Loving mother of Dawn Round (Bill), Sarnia, Darcy Boyd, Sarnia, Lisa Fraser (Terry), Petrolia, Krista Chinnery (Ian) Shedden and the late Kitch Grieve (Beth), Sarnia.  Cherished grandmother of 12 and great-grandmother of 8.  Predeceased by her parents Frank & Amelia Miller and her sister Genevieve.  Rosemary’s passion was the love of her family and spending time with them brought her great joy.  She had many talents especially cake decorating and stain glass. Rosemary also loved to garden, read and knit. Words cannot express our family’s appreciation to Afton Park Place Staff for all the amazing care, kindness and love that our mother was given. Heartfelt thanks to Jane and Beth Ann for their love and friendship given during the years. Cremation has taken place and a private service will be held in Port Huron at a later date.
