Obituary of Bradley Mark Penhale
Penhale, Bradley Mark ("The Miracle Man") lived to be 61! He went home on March 29, 2019. He took his last breath peacefully, with family by his side, at L.H.S.C. Transplant Unit. He was their first double lung transplant 27 years ago and 8 years later, was the recipient of a kidney transplant. Brad considered himself to be the "Luckiest Man Alive." Despite the challenges he faced, he never lost his amazing sense of humour. Brad was predeceased by parents Donald (1987) and Mildred (1995), brother Bill (2005) and sister Yvonne Cooper (2010). Husband of the late Patricia. Dear brother of Sheridan (Betty), Gwen (Terry, 2008), Cheryl Blum (Frank), Daryle Morgan (Gary), Glenda Hilliard (Steve), Lori Walt (Chuck, 2010), Kevin (Nora), Scott (Tracy Firth), Brent (Jean) and brother in law, Al Cooper. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Brad worked at St. Clair Auto Repair, along with good friends Dan Daly and Chico Williams. Brad was always treated with kindness and respect by owner Richard Bellavance. He will be missed dearly by friend Kim Donovan and his faithful companion Carmen. Cremation has taken place. The memorial service will be held at Huron Baptist Church, 1285 Michigan Ave., (beside Goodwill) Friday, April 5, 2019 at 11 a.m. A celebration of Brad’s life will immediately follow in the church parish hall.
