Obituary of Gerald Alfred Cadotte

CADOTTE Gerald “Gerry” - At Bluewater Health - Palliative Care on  Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at the age of 92. Gone to be with the love of his life Adeline (2009). Dear father of Linda & her husband Fred Lamourea, Gale & her husband Peter Hignett, and Gerald Cadotte & his wife Rosemary all of Corunna. Loving grandfather of Christopher, Richard and Douglas Hignett, Margaret Reid, Gerry (Yasmin) Cadotte, Michelle Forget, Michael (Jen), Billy (Darlene) and Timmy (Ceice) Cadotte. Papa to Tianna, Christen and Landon Hignett, Daniel, Julia, Kyle and Nathan Reid, Riley & Jayden Cadotte, Maddie Forget and Sierra Cadotte. Great-great Papa of 5. Also survivied by many nieces and nephews. Cherished friend of Gary & Carol Bettito and Dan & Gail Marshall.  Predeceased by his parents Fredrick & Edith Cadotte and siblings; Theodore (Annis) Cadotte, Irene (Roy) Barnes, Madeline Belanger, Beatrice (Lorne) Marsh, Joseph (Margarite) Cadotte and Mary (Jack) Jinkerson. Gerry was an amazing father, grandfather and papa.  His family was the love of his life and spending time with them brought him great joy.  Gerry was an incredible musician.  He loved to play the piano, guitar, mouth organ and banjo bringing music to the lives of all who knew him.  Gerry was an avid gardener.  His career as a labourer started at Holmes Foundry and then Imperial Oil for 44 years.  He will be forever in our hearts.  Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N. on Monday, May 27, 2019 from 10 – 11 am.  A Celebration of Gerry’s life will be held in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel immediately following visitation at 11 a.m.  Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.
