Obituary of Cecile M. Langlois

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Cecile Langlois on Friday June 14, 2019 at the Ottawa Hospital - Civic Campus. She leaves behind her husband George, the love of her life for the past 60 years.  Loving mother of two sons Marc (Carole), Luke (Claudia) and daughter Gigi (Robin Pearson).  Cherished grandmother of Christopher, Matthew (Marianne Eid) and Sarah.  Cecile is survived by her sister Reina Lilko and her brother Andy Courchesne.  Also survived by many extended family and close friends. Predeceased by her brothers Fern, Robert, Herve and Paul.  She enjoyed a long career of 40 years with Bell Canada.  Cecile will be remembered for her kindness and devotion to her family and friends and she will be greatly missed.  Many thanks to all the staff at the Ottawa Heart Institute and the Civic Hospital ICU teams. Family and friends may pay respects at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia on Friday from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church.  Interment to follow at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to a charity of choice.  Messages of condolence and sharing memories may be left at www.kellyfh.ca.
