Obituary of Shirley Jean Wilson

WILSON, Shirley Jean – Shirley passed away at Bluewater Health on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at the age of 92. Predeceased by her longtime partner William LaVoie (2005). She is survived by her niece and god daughter Linda Roy, niece Kathie McCullough and nephew Paul Burr. Also surviving are 4 great-nieces and nephews and their children. Shirley retired from Union Gas after many years spent working as a credit clerk. She was a long time member of the Sarnia Golf & Curling Club and was very active in both golf and curling and won the Ladies Club Championship 17 years in a row. Shirley was a proud inductee of the Sarnia Lambton Sports Hall of Fame. Cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will be held.
