My dad and I had a lot of good times and I have barely any pictures with him because I was the typical teenager who was embarrassed of their parent. You’d think I would have learned with my moms passing but I never thought my dad would pass before his 90’s. I will forever miss being annoyed with his constant advice, his chats about topics I couldn’t understand like fishing and stocks, constant texts and phone calls and the need to know where I were going or who I were with. I didn’t always understand my dad but I always felt his love. His heart was gold.
This is the only picture I could find of us on the day of my prom. I will never forget how excited he was for me. He even let me throw the pre prom party with my friends in the garage! “You look amazing Britt!” were his words that day.
