Obituary of Helen Almeda Sharpe

HODDINOTT-SHARPE, Helen Almeda – Helen passed away after a brief illness at Bluewater Health, Sarnia, ON. on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at the age of 77. Loving mother of Betty Colbourne, Sarnia and Gay Colbourne, Sarnia. Special grandma of Michael, Jessica, Andrew (Shannon), Samantha and Zachary Colbourne. Great-grandma of Benson, Eli, Lucas, Rayne, Flynn, Harper and Elizabeth. Sister of Alfreda Rogers, Wanita Gibbons, Ivy Burry and Ruby Constantine. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Austin and Elsie Hoddinott, sisters Rowena and Hazel and brother Angus. Helen moved from Corner Brook, NL in 1995 to Sarnia to be closer to her daughters. She was a big fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and rarely missed a game. More than anything, Helen loved her family and enjoyed being with them any chance she got. She tried as best as she could to be the rock of the family and did so right up until the day she died. We will miss her immensely.
