Obituary of Guiteria Marie-Rose Paiement

PAIEMENT (Marchand), Guiteria – The world has lost and Angel who is flying high looking over all of us! Gerty passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at the age of 101. Beloved wife of the late Antonio “Tony”. Loving mother of Marcel & wife Dorina, Paulette & husband John Paithouski and Dianne & husband Tom McCord. Proud grandmother of Christopher, Jennifer, Justin, Kendra, Shawn, Lisa and Derek. Cherished great-grandmother of Taylor, Dakota, Nicholas, Jamieson, Beth, Elliot, Noah, Mila, Sophia, Esben, Cohen, Ben, Maya, Mischa and Sacha. Predeceased by parents Alfred and Agnes Marchand, 4 brothers, 1 sister and a great grandchild Adam (2001).

Mom, Grandma, Mimi was truly the most remarkable lady that we were blessed to have in our lives. No one loved and embraced life like she did. She lived a full life and was so so loved by so so many. She will be forever missed and never forgotten. She will live on within all of us. She is now the wind beneath our wings.

Special thanks to the kind, supportive people from Paramedics, Respiratory team, and home hospice who made it possible to have mom remain in her home. Special thanks to Madeline who cared for mom during the night for several months. Thank you for the amazing support and love from friends.
