Hello. My name is Sharon. My mother Joan lived just a few doors up the hall from Shirley at Lanark Village. My mother suffers from memory loss. Shirley took it upon herself to alway spend time with my mum. She gave her lots of hugs and told that she loved her. She would get her walking and would make her laugh. Shirley will always be very special to me for all that she did for my mum and for me. We send our deepest condolences to her family. My she rest in peace.

I only knew her four years, but we somehow became best friends, and I miss her a whole lot. To all my dear cousins and your families.We are so sorry for your loss.Mom's are very special and it is hard to say goodbye. I think one of the special things about Auntie Shirley was she made sure you all had a relationship with your Dad's family.And we have been blessed by that. She was many years without Uncle Earl but she lived her life the best she could. She loved her family and she loved to have a good time and laugh. I couldn't see figure skating on TV and not think that Auntie Shirley was watching.And she was like Uncle Bob always well groomed no matter the occasion.And nice bright colors.Now she is again with her Duke.
