Obituary of Jean-Pierre Boucher

BOUCHER, Jean-Pierre - After a lengthy and brave battle with cancer, Jean-Pierre Boucher passed away on August 16, 2023 at Bluewater Health at the age of 73.
 

Pierre is survived by his loving wife, Mary Jane, his sons Gino, Steve and Pierre Jr. (Angie) Hache and his bonus daughter Michelle (Christopher) Holbrook.  Loving grandpa to Owen and Jagger Hache and special papa to Amber and Jayda Holbrook. Great grandfather of six.

Pierre grew up in Gaspe, Quebec where he loved spending time with his family. He will be missed by his siblings, Gerald (Aline), Donald (Marie), Louis (Sue), Pierrette, Lina (Carl), Daniel (Annie) and Dany (late Yvonne).  Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews in Quebec and Ontario. Predeceased by his father, Jean, and mother Valida, as well as his sisters Gerdaline and Noelline.  
Pierre was an extremely hard worker, no matter what the job was his entire life. From working in the mines in Quebec to ships on the Great Lakes. When he arrived in Sarnia in the 70's he worked in concrete forming and then as the handyman in his apartment building until his death. Pierre took great pride in all of his work and could literally fix anything.  

In honouring Pierre’s wishes, cremation has taken place there will be no service. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to Sarnia-Lambton Rebound 10 Lorne Crescent, Sarnia, ON or Life's Seasons Care & Support at 774 London Road.
