As a young lady Mom started working at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Sarnia as a Nurses Aide then married and had four kids and took on the biggest role as wife and mother. Growing up mom was loving and patient always keeping busy cooking, sewing, baking and taking care of whatever needed to be done. Later in life when our father became ill she got her driver’s license and returned to work at a hospital, but this time in housekeeping. When she retired she became a volunteer the Imperial Theatre and the Blood Donor Clinic.
The absolute joy of her life was her Grands and Greats (children) and she lit up whenever she saw them. The great grandchildren called her “GG” for Grandma Great. She was always a quiet gentle soul. We will be forever grateful that she wasn’t sick long and passed away so peacefully. She was beloved at Trillium Villa and we appreciate the care she received.
