Obituary of Doreen Lillian Johnson

JOHNSON, Doreen Lillian - Doreen passed away suddenly in her happy place in Florida on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at the age of 71 with her husband, daughter, son and brother by her side. She was the loving wife of Larry for 51 years. Amazing mother of Craig Johnson (Kelly) and Kim Johnson (Mark Craig). Grandma of Addison and Cameron Johnson and Tyler and Mackenzie Dennis. Sister of John Lowe, Ron Lowe (Carrie Ann) and Jim Lowe (Tamara). Doreen will also be missed by her special friends Ron & Mary Jo McLaughlin. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Predeceased by her father and mother-in-law Bruce & Marilyn Johnson, mother, Dorothy Lowe and sister Debbie Smith. Doreen’s family would like to thank the doctors and medical staff in the ICU at the Orlando Regional Medical Center in Orlando, Florida for the outstanding personal care she received during her short time with them. Cremation has taken place in Florida. Doreen’s favourite thing in life was being surrounded by family and friends. She welcomed everyone with open arms, so we are holding a casual celebration of her life. The celebration will be held at the Big Fish Steak and Lounge, 1717 London Line (Golden Mile), Sarnia on Saturday, January 6, 2024, between the hours of 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.  Arrangements entrusted to McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre 519-344-3131.
