I met Teresa Daisies (that’s what I called her) when I was three or four years old—she lived next door when I was a little girl. It was obvious to me that she was fundamentally kind. She always had time to come over to the fence and talk to me, sometimes with a popsicle from inside. She was a special neighbour and a special person.
