Obituary of Patrick Marcel Lacasse
Pat Lacasse
August 6, 1965 - July 18, 2024
The Lacasse family is heartbroken to announce the sudden passing of their dear son, brother, uncle, great uncle Pat. Pat’s immediate family left behind to mourn are his mother Jeanne Lacasse, brothers Rick (Glenda) Lacasse, Mike (Judy) Lacasse, Dan (Kirsten) Lacasse, nieces Courteney (Jay) Cammidge, Kristine (Eric) Rawski, Julia (Jay) VanderVlist and nephews Griffin and Jake Lacasse. He also leaves behind his great nieces and nephews Violet, Elora & Tucker Rawski, Evelyn & Jackson Cammidge and Leighton VanderVlist. Also, will be missed by members of the Anderson family Kristal Smiley & Rob Anderson. Sadly, Pat will never get to meet his new great niece or nephew who will be arriving in March, he was very excited about the new addition. Pat is predeceased by his father Lucien Lacasse and his grandparents and many aunts and uncles.
Although Pat never had children of his own, he loved all his nieces and nephews with all of his heart. He enjoyed every minute he got to spend time with them, and he never missed a birthday or any other occasion to be with them. He loved to play silly games with them and would always get them all wound up before it was time to send them home.
Pat always lived life to the fullest and he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed sports and was an avid bowler and golfer. In his bowling days Pat conquered the rare honour of scoring not one but two perfect games. He was an avid Detroit Lions, Tigers and Pistons fan but when it came to hockey it was the Toronto Maple Leaf always. Patrick was a carpenter with local 1256 for several years and was an active member at Stokes.
A hole has been left in the hearts of all of Pat’s family and his many friends. Pat will be missed by all who knew him.
