Obituary of Luke Thomas Stewardson
STEWARDSON, Luke Thomas - It is with great sorrow that we share the news of the sudden and unexpected passing of Luke Stewardson, on July 17, 2024, in Toronto. Luke was 34 years old. His loss leaves a void in the hearts of all those who cared for him.
Nancy and Tom Stewardson deeply loved their son Luke. He was a caring brother to Josh, Adam & his wife Delaney and sister Melissa Pecora & her husband Elliot. He was a cherished uncle to Henry and Joni Pecora and Callum Stewardson. Luke will be missed by his loving grandparents Don and Dona Stewardson and the late Gerry and Mary-Lou Bernardo. Luke leaves behind many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Those who knew him will recall his natural sense of humour, his kindness, and (almost too) fearless sense of adventure, all of which shone through in childhood and throughout the rest of his life. Luke had a heart of gold, which he filled with the love for his family, friends, and any animal lucky enough to cross his path. To know Luke was to love Luke, as his caring nature meant he made friends with anyone anywhere he went.
His loss will be felt profoundly by his three surviving siblings, who deeply loved their brother and the light he brought to their team of four. The joy he brought to his family will be treasured and deeply missed.
Visitation will be held at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 Christina St. N. on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, from 6 to 8 p.m. The celebration of life will be held in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel on Thursday, July 25th at 11 am.
