Obituary of Jessica Cecilia Bridge

BRIDGE, Cecilia – Cecilia passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 2, 2024 at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Ted. Dear mother of Colleen Archer (Brad) and Cathleen Moulton. Loving grandma of Caitlyn Archer, Elizabeth Archer, Teddy Archer (Alex), Liam Moulton and Lily Mouton. Great-grandma of Maeve Archer. Sister of William Roberts (Becky). Cecilia was a working woman long before it was popular. She was the first female State Farm agent in Canada. She loved helping people through her office. She showed her daughters that you be a working woman and still be the best mom. Cecilia loved to travel the world. She was always going to new countries to meet new people. She belonged to a group called “Friendship Force” that hosted people from around the world. Even during covid, she refused to stay home, and took her daughters and grandchild to Alaska.

At Cecilia’s request cremation has taken place. A wake to celebrate her life will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 3-7 p.m. at her home. Arrangements entrusted to the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 Christina St. N. ON.
