Obituary of Anna Liberatta Graveline

GRAVELINE, Anna L. (nee Persichilli) – Peacefully with her son by her side, Anna Graveling died at Bluewater Health on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at the age of 74.  Beloved wife of the late Dennis Graveline (2020).  Loving mother of Daniel Graveline, Bright’s Grove. Dear sister of Achille Persichilli (Betty) and Angelo Persichilli.  Sister-in-law of Mariette Gardiner (Robert), Lianne Graveline and Darrell Graveline. Also survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy.  Predeceased by her parents Silvestro & Felicia Persichilli. 

Anna was born in Italy and emigrated to Canada with her parents and brothers in 1953. Moving to Sarnia, she met the love of her life, Dennis and they had their son Daniel.  Anna was the kindest person you could know.  Always willing to help others.  She was a devout Roman Catholic.  Anna loved to garden and cook.  As a family they had many adventures, including riding in an air balloon, traveling and canoeing and so much more.  Anna was a Rotarian for many years.  She was a bookkeeper for most of her life.  Anna will be forever loved and missed by the many lives she touched.

Visitation will be held at McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 Christina St. N , Sarnia on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 from 11:30 to 1:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Church on Wednesday following visitation at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 Christina St. N. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to Inn of the Good Shepherd, 115 John St, Sarnia, ON N7T 2Z1.
