Oh my...how saddened we are to hear this and so distraught at just finding out tonight. I was just thinking of your Mom the other night and was meaning to call her after she had called a while back. I feel terrible that I missed that opportunity. Absolutely loved your Mom and had many memorable moments on the curling ice and on the golf course. She had us over for dinner last winter and we had such a wonderful time. We just always enjoyed her company and loved when she joined us for a drink at the Club. Please accept our heartfelt sympathy, and know we would have been there had we known of her passing. I feel so bad about that. She will always have a special place in our hearts!!

Dear Julie and family, my heart goes out to you at this sad time. Val was so much fun and so full of life. I always enjoyed curling with her and against her as there was never a dull moment. I also enjoyed seeing the two of you curling together and I know how much you will miss her as I lost my mom last July, but cherish the memories as that will keep her with you always. Love Susie Abametz

I have memories of being out to your mom and dad's as a little girl and watching "Mabel" style her hair. No question what her profession would be!
Our condolences to her brother Harold and sister Helen. The circle of 1st cousins continues to get smaller.
