SMITH-ANDERSON, Valerie Mabel – At Bluewater Health on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at the age of 78. Beloved wife of the late Harold Smith and the late Norm Anderson. Dear mother of Shelly Lovegrove (Lawrence), Petrolia, Terry Smith (Andrea), Strathroy and Julie Kelly (Dale), Sarnia. Loving grandmother of Jason Lovegrove (Maggie), Janet Mogk (Ron), Annette Major (Cam), Clinton Smith, Brittany Smith, Shayne Smith, Kiefer Smith, Matt Smith, Sara Mejia, Lindsay Fransky (Scott), Kaitlyn Dudgeon (Matt), Shannon Stainton and Meghan Smith (Darren). Great-grandmother of 10. Step-mother of Sean Anderson (Roz), Norma Smith, Deirdre Lloyd and David Anderson. Step-grandmother of Arrielle and Spencer. Sister of Helen Grove and Harold Taylor (Linda). Predeceased by parents Edna Mae & Clark Taylor, brother William Taylor and sisters Margaret Smith, Leta Thorne, Florence Wright, Dorothy LaFond, Loreen Campbell, Viola Smith and Marion Battle. Sister-in-law of Jean Taylor, Gerald Smith and Lloyd Campbell. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Tuesday, February 7th from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Temple Baptist Church on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.. Private family interment will take place in Wyoming Cemetery.
