So difficult to write words that adequately describe the cheerful, optimistic and happy person I knew so well and remember so fondly. Sad to hear this news. First met Gerry at the DuPont Plant in Corunna Ont. in late 60. We became friends - had a common interest in motorsports and travelled everywhere going to races - Daytona, Sebring, Riverside Laguna Seca, and countless more tracks all over N.A. - lots of stories. Last saw him in Sept. of 16 at a restaurant near Toronto airport. I had come back east for a 50 T/A celebration at Watkins Glen International. He made a special effort to come and see me. RIP old buddy. You were one of a kind. Robert Barg
