Obituary of Gerald McDonald

McDONALD, Gerald – Peacefully at Fiddick’s Nursing Home, Petrolia, Gerald McDonald passed on Friday, October 5, 2018 at the age of 78. Loving father of Jeff McDonald & his partner Lisette Pillon of Sarnia and Neil McDonald & his partner Cindy Schweyer of Toronto. Cherished grandfather of Zack McDonald of London. Dear brother of Karen & (late) Lloyd Northcott of Dresden, Lynn & Sue McDonald of Wallaceburg, and Cathy & Junior Kelly of Bothwell. Predeceased by his parents Dorothy & Arling McDonald. Gerald was a devoted family man; spending time at the cottage with family was his greatest joy. He had a passion for travel and was a motorsport enthusiast. Gerald also enjoyed downhill skiing, sailing and listening to jazz music. He worked for over 40 years in the automotive industry as a salesman, working for Lambton Ford for many of those years before he retired. Gerald will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by all his family and friends. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish may make a donation to Alzheimer Society of Canada.
